As we enter into the last week of 2016, the team at Nanomechanics Inc. has been taking a look back at an amazing year for our company. Highlights from this year for Nanomechanics Inc. include:
Awards and Honors: In 2016, Nanomechanics Inc. received the Governor’s Award for Trade Excellence, while Dr. Warren Oliver, PhD, President of Nanomechanics, was awarded one of the highest professional distinctions in the engineering industry with his election to National Academy of Engineering.
Service Lab: Nanomechanics Inc. introduced our Service Lab Testing capabilities that offers comprehensive evaluations, consulting and results consistent with the highest industry testing for nano-indentation and nano-mechancial testing procedures. Service Lab technicians are trained in mechanical testing, materials science and advanced engineering techniques. The testing process includes discussion of customer’s needs and goals with varied testing methods to produce results conforming to client objectives. Further testing, discussion and recommendations can also be implemented, if required, after initial testing is completed.
Nanomechanics Inc. Recognition and Growth: This was a great year for the Nanomechanics Inc. team, as we reported record growth in 2016 related to our products and services. In addition, Nanomechanics, Inc. products were featured in a number of publications, including information on our high performance mechanical characterization iNano Nanoindenter, information on how our nano-indenters and nano-indentation testing is revolutionizing the industry, along with the use of our iMicro Nanoindenter is being used for high quality material testing and dynamic data experiments.
Nanomechanics Inc. Outreach and Seminars: The Nanomechanics Inc. team created a new agreement with Fast Forward Devices to deliver revolutions in testing for academic and business use, along with offering a series of educational webinars that discuss nano-indentation techniques and testing, as well as offering expert insight into the latest trends in nano-indentation with industry leaders during the year.
